FRACTURE

Anthony Hopkins is in this one. You know how he is. I mean, he's scared me ever since he played Hannibal Lecter. But he knows how to play a movie. This movie was kind of a mystery. You have to go see it to know what happens. Sheila and I liked it. Don't take the kids.

PERFECT STRANGERS

This movie really kept you in suspense the whole time. You didn't know what was going to happen. Halle Berry plays in it. Did you know she tried to commit suicide 3 times? I didn't. I guess after the last time she thought, "What is wrong with me?" She plays a good role in the movie. It was NOT a good role for Bruce Willis. He usually plays a tough guy. In this, he was wimpy. I expect more out of him. I give it an 8. You will be really surprised.

FIREHOUSE DOG

Take The kids. That dog was so smart it was pathetic! When that dog was skateboarding, I likely came off my seat. Take my advice, this one is really, really good. I give it a 9.

THE LAST MIMZY

Good picture. The movie has a good story. The little girl who plays in it is great. I didn't write her name down. This is a good movie for the kids. It'll make you cry, but it's still good for the kids. Well worth the time. Go see it. Or rent it.

PREMONITION

I like Sandra Bullock, so I went to see this one. It was just okay. It was a mystery. Sometimes you got it, sometimes you didn't. You see, he'd die every day. She'd wake up and he'd be in the shower. It took him forever to die. He finally died in the end. She tried to stop him, she hollered at him, this truck came over the hill and slid into him. It ended kind of yucky. I gave it a six. You didn't know if he was dead or alive. I don't even think she knew what was going on.

WILD HOGS

If you want to see a very funny movie, see this one. It's got Tim Allen, John Travolta and Martin Lawrence in it. Oh God, was it was funny! Those guys were crazy. They did things that made you want to roll in the aisle. They were all going on vacation together. You know Tim Allen, he's funny. Martin Lawrence is normally a serious actor, but he's so funny in this. That John Travolta went dancing down the street like he did in Grease. It was just funny!

THE ASTRONAUT FARMER

This movie had lots of action and suspense. Take the whole family. Billy Bob Thornton was great. I'm not much of a Billy Bob Thornton fan, but he was great. He built a rocket to go into outer space on his farm. And he went! He did it! He came back and survived. Everyone told him he couldn't do it, but he did it!

GHOST RIDER

This was a good movie. Lots of action. Nicholas Cage plays in this one. Peter
Fonda looked great! I've been seeing a lot of old guys in movies these days. This movie was different. He made a deal with a devil, and he'd ride his motorcycle and he'd be on fire. It was somethin! It really kept you on the edge of your seat. i give it an 8 1/2 .

BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA

Oh God, what can I say? You must see this movie. It is heart-warming and makes you feel good. It will make you cry in some places. The kids would like it. The kids who played it were great. It's a little bit fairy tale. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.

THE LAST SIN EATER

A must see movie. Don't let the title fool you. It was a little bit about God. The actress was quite good. Michael Landon Jr. directed, so you know what you're getting. I give it a 9.

BECAUSE I SAID SO

If you want to laugh, go see this one! It is so funny that you'll roll in the aisles. They gave it a "D" in the paper here. I went to see it anyway. Diane Keaton plays the mother. She was great. She's an overbearing mother who tries to run her daughters' lives. Then she meets the father of her daughter's boyfriend (played by the preacher from 7th Heaven). When she was caught having sex with him on the couch, I thought I'd die! Great movie. Go see it.

PAN'S LABRYRINTH

I liked it, even though it had subtitles! I can't read fast enough, but I got the gist of the movie. That Captain was a mean bastard. He'd just as soon shoot you in the head as look at you. It was different from other movies. It had a good ending. GUEST REVIEWER MARIAN'S DAUGHTER, PAT: I liked it, except for the subtitles. You know what I really liked? The original Labyrinth with David Bowie.

CATCH AND RELEASE

This was not one of Jennifer Garner's best pictures. I was disappointed in her. I'd wait until it comes out on video

THE HITCHER

This movie was really scary. It kept you on the edge of your seat. It really made you not want to go out at night and drive. Boy he was something else. Creepy. If you like scary movies, go see it. I give it a 7.

CURSE OF THE GOLDEN FLOWER

It was a good movie. I didn't particularly like it, because it was subtitled. It had good acting. Those people really know how to kill. Rent this one. Save some money.

CHILDREN OF MEN

It was a mean movie, but it was entertaining. There was a lot of violence. It was kind of hard to follow. I've seen better. I wouldn't spend no 7 or 8 dollars to see it. Rent this one. I give it a 6 1/2.

CHARLOTTE'S WEB

Dakota Fanning was just wonderful. Oh, this movie was so great. Take the kids! Do you know it took them 3 years to make that movie? Because the weather was so bad! I don't know how many pigs they had to go through! Take the kids I give it a 10.

PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS

This movie really shows what can happen to you if you get down and out. Will Smith was great. It was a very down to earth movie. They had a lot of sad times. But you know, he ended up being a millionaire. Oh yeah, he sold his company for millions. I give it a 9 1/2.

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

That movie is so funny it's pathetic. I don't care for Ben Stiller, but this movie was great. They had a lot of old timers in it--Mickey Rooney and what's his name (Dick Van Dyke). If you want a fun movie, go see it!

THE NATIVITY STORY

This one is about Joseph and Mary. It tells the story of how they met; they married. The angel came down and told her she was going to have a baby. She didn't know how to tell Joseph. Joseph was mad because she was pregnant and he knew he didn't have anything to do with it. The angel came down and told Joseph it was okay. It was a religious movie, but it was real good. I think everyone should see it. The three wisemen were funny.

BLOOD DIAMOND

It was a good movie. It was long. It was about people in Sierra Leone who had to suffer. Those people in Africa had it hard. Leonardo Caprio was great. Jennifer Connoly was the woman. Djimon Hounsou was the black man. He found the big diamond and buried it. Everyone was after it. This was a good movie. I give it a 9 1/2.

CASINO ROYALE

I give it at 10! There was a lot of beautiful scenery. There was a lot of suspense. Daniel Craig was magnificent. He's not good looking.

DEJA VU

This wasn't one of the best movies I've ever seen. Denzel Washington was good. It was suspenseful. It was a science fiction thing.

MARIE ANTOINETTE

I really liked this movie. I saw it out at the Mall. It was a good story. She was married to the king. I like historical movies. I was by myself, but I wanted to tell everyone that I was there. I was there! We were right down there where they watch the sun come up. What a thrill! I was there!

FLICKA

This was a great movie. Tim McGraw is really good lookin'. God is he cute! The movie is good too. It's about a horse. They live in Montana or someplace. He's got the cutest butt you ever wanted to lay eyes on.

THE ILLUSIONIST

This was a very good movie. It kept you in suspense. I would give it a nine. Is this Ed Norton from the Honeymooners' grandson? Go see it.

BLACK DAHLIA

I wasn't too enthused by this one. You had to really keep on top of this to know what was going on. I wouldn't go see it again.

TALLADEGA NIGHTS

I don't care for the guy in it. It was stupid. You have to really like racing. Did I tell you about RV? Now THAT was a funny movie.

WORLD TRADE CENTER

This movie was very sad. These guys were underneath the trade center when the towers go down. The young man had a baby on the way. There was another young man pinned. He shot himself. It was a very stressful movie. They had families they thought they'd never see again. The good thing was the boy who saved them never gave up. It made you cry. I wouldn't go see it again. And I wouldn't take children to go see it.

THE NIGHT LISTENER

I give this a C minus. It wasn't that great. They used the F word in it a lot. It was also not a great story. It has Robert Williams in it. Did you see him in RV? You've got to go see it.

MIAMI VICE

I give this a B minus. It was good. A lot of fast cars and fast boats. I missed Don Johnson, but these guys were okay.

MATERIAL GIRLS

I saw this movie about two sisters. I don't remember the name of it. It's got two young girls in it. They're rich and their father goes broke. It was okay.

SUPERMAN RETURNS

He is the cutest thing I've ever seen! I mean, he is a cute guy! I LOVED the movie. Sheila liked it too. I give it a 10. It was great.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MAN'S CHEST

That Johnny Depp is so funny! I laughed my rear end off! He walks like a damn girl. This has more action than the first one. I loved it. Some of the kids didn't like it, but I thought it was a great. I give it a 10.

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA

Glenn Close plays a great role in this! She plays a boss outta hell. If she threw her coat on my desk like she did on that poor girl's desk, I'd have shoved it up her ass. She plays a great role. I give it a 9.

CARS

Oh golly was that a good movie! The kids loved it, the grown-ups loved it. If you don't like it, there's something wrong with you.

OVER THE HEDGE

I laughed so hard in this one. I really hee-hawed. Even the grown-ups enjoyed it. If you have kids, you've got to go.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE III

I really don't care for Tom Cruise. But this movie was good. It was just getting interesting, when the damn lights went out and we didn't get to see the end. I still give it a "B". It had a lot of great action

THE LAKE HOUSE

Now I really like Sandra Bullock, but that was the stupidest damn movie I ever saw. It didn't make sense. And I like the guy too! They were supposed to be two years apart. It never made sense. Maybe you could go and see it and explain it to me.

THE DA VINCI CODE

You know, this was a real odd movie. It wasn't grabbing. It was boring. They tried to make it like Jesus had a bride. It didn't change my views on what I've learned in church. I didn't go there to change my views. It was just a movie. I wouldn't see it again.

UNITED 93

The plane went down in the backyard of my home town. So I wanted to see this movie. I wanted to know if they got into the cockpit or not. It was a very tense movie. Very moving. When I came out, I was crying--because they all lost their lives. They were very brave people.

RV

If you are really down in the dumps and looking for a funny movie, you have got to see this movie. I likely cracked up! It's very funny. Some of the things Robin Williams does in this movie, you can't believe. (ed. like?) They're in the damn mountains and he has this RV teeter-tottering, oh you just have to go see it.

THE WILD

This is an animated story about a lion and his son. The kids will love it. It had cute parts in it. It's about a lion and his little cub. They lived in New York and the cub got shipped back to Africa or somewhere over there. The kids will love it. I enjoyed it.

THE SENTINEL

Michael Douglas plays in this one. And the guy who plays Jack Bauer on "24". It's a good movie. It's about the government. You don't know who the bad guy is until the end. You have suspicions, but you are wrong. It was exciting, interesting, and kept you going the whole time.

ICE AGE THE MELTDOWN

Oh God, you've got to go see this movie! It's funnier than it was the first time. The kids will just love it. There are new charachters. There's a snaggle tooth tiger in it, and a hairy mammoth (you know, from the old days). It was so cute. It was adorable. You've got to go see it. That squirrel is so funny.

LUCKY NUMBER SLEVEN

It's Sleven. Not eleven, not seven. Bruce Willis plays in this one. There is a new kid, Josh Hartnett in it, too. He plays a bigger part than Bruce Willis. He's great. It's a mystery-like thing. It's suspenseful, ends well. It's good.

INSIDE MAN

This was a kooky movie. You couldn't keep up with it. It wasn't your regular heist movie. They didn't even take the money! You'll have to see it to know what they did take. I wouldn't go see it again.

FAILURE TO LAUNCH

This movie was so funny I thought I would fall out of my seat! Terry Bradshaw is in it. And he has a Naked Room. They show him feeding the fish stark-assed naked! I thought I would crack up! They just showed his butt, you know. Oh and Jennifer Parker is great in it too. This is a great romantic comedy.

16 BLOCKS

This has Bruce Willis in it. You know how arrogant he usually is in his movies? Well, I think he's trying to make a comeback, because he really ACTED in this one. His acting is great. I'd give this one a 9 1/2.

EIGHT BELOW

God this is a wonderful movie! The dogs were exceptional. It's got funny parts, scary parts--it's got everything. Those dogs really looked after each other. It was a great movie. Sheila enjoyed it too. I would give it a 10.
